In 2005, after working as a cartoonist for one year, Yasmine went on to get certified as a personal trainer from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America to help herself cope with the desk job. This led to a whole career shift that took her into the world of fitness where she continued to expand her knowledge and experience. She got certified as a group exercise instructor and in 2010 she was the second Egyptian to be certified as a Stott Pilates instructor.
She attended specialized workshops on various topics including prenatal fitness and midlife fitness for women.
She also studied the ISSA Specialist in Performance Nutrition.
In 2019 She signed up for the Essentials of Sports and Exercise Nutrition certification by Precision Nutrition
